National Pre-Arbitration Agreement: Article 37.3.F.5; Posting, Bidding, and Application (1991)

This National Level Pre-Arbitration Settlement Agreement addresses examination requirements for clerk typist and Markup clerk automated positions. During the discussion, it was mutually agreed that examination requirements would be prospectively revised so that examinations for clerk-typist (tests 710 and 712) and for clerk-stenographer positions (tests 710, 711, and 712) may be administered separately to inservice applicants (current career employees) to determine qualification for these positions and other positions requiring these examinations. Specific instructions as well as applicable implementation dates were to be published in a future Postal Bulletin.
