The issue in this grievance is whether the Memorandum of Understanding at page 189 of the National Agreement applies to a letter of warning issued September 24, 1984. During our discussion, we mutually agreed that the following constitutes full and final settlement of this case:
1) The 6-month time period begins on the issue date of the letter of warning which must be prior to December 24, 1984.
2) Letters of warning issued prior to December 24, 1984 need not have ripened by December 24, 1984, the date of the Kerr Arbitration Award. Therefore, if the September 24, 1984 letter of warning has ripened and meets the other conditions set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding, it shall be purged.
This grievance is hereby remanded to the region to make the above determination.
