The grievance involves an alleged violation of Article 15 by requiring union stewards to file Step 1 grievances with their immediate supervisor. We agreed that there is no dispute between the parties relative to the meaning and intent of Article 15.2 which provides in part, "Any employee who feels aggrieved must discuss the grievance with the employee's immediate supervisor..." Who the immediate supervisor of an employee, including a union steward, is at a particular installation must be determined locally. Finally, we agreed to resolve this case as no further action is required.
