Our northern neighbors are standing with us in solidarity.
Mike Palecek, President of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, sent President Dimondstein a letter supporting the APWU National Day of Action.
“Your struggle is our struggle. North of the border, our bosses are likewise manufacturing a crisis in order to justify slashing services, privatizing operations and converting decent wages into low wages,” he said.
“Canadian postal workers support a fair contract for the APWU members and the expansion of postal services for better services to the public and for good stable jobs and healthy economies,” Palecek concluded.
