Candidate for Southern Region Maintenance NBA Passes Away

We regret to announce the death of Robert “Bob” Jarrell, who was a candidate for Maintenance Division National Business Agent “A” for the Southern Region. Jarrell, who passed away Sept. 22, was president of the Greensboro BMC Local.

There are two other candidates in the race for NBA.

Ballots for the election of national union officers were mailed Sept. 13 and must be returned to and received in the designated post office box by 2 p.m. on Oct. 5. In accordance with rules developed by the APWU Election Committee, the National Executive Board has determined that — because balloting is already underway — voting in the race should continue.
