The notices are effective March 24, 2020 through September 30, 2020.

Medical Certifications

Drivers may continue to operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) with an expired medical certificate under certain conditions; such as that the certificate was valid as of February 29, 2020 and the driver has not been diagnosed with a disqualifying medical condition since their last medical exam.

Driver’s Licenses

A driver may continue to operate a CMV provided it “was valid on February 29, 2020, and expired on or after March 1, 2020, and the driver is otherwise qualified to drive under 391.11.”
