Step 4 Settlement Agreement: Article 8; Hours of Work (1983)

The question raised in this grievance is whether employees who stayed beyond their tour or who came in in their non-scheduled day to take a TB test are entitled to out-of-schedule pay. During our discussion, we agreed that under the circumstances described in this case, only employees who took the test during their regularly scheduled workday are entitled to take it on-the-clock on a no-loss-no-gain basis. Accordingly, we agreed to close the case based on a finding of no contractual violation.
