The issue in this grievance is whether local management established work and time standards for window clerks. During our discussion, we mutually agreed that window clerks will be given a reasonable amount of time in which to complete their set up and close out duties. In order to maintain an efficient operation, management may set time frames during which certain duties should be completed. Any additional time necessary due to unanticipated circumstances should be brought to the attention of a supervisor and not unreasonably denied. These time frames are guidelines, and were not intended to be absolutes.
